Hallo Dirk!
If you bet the horses or play the gambling wheel
and won a million dollars, how happy would you feel?
Would you bath in french champagne or drive the latest Cadillac
with a movie star on the front seat and a swimming pool in the back.
If I would win a million dollars, I know what I would do.
I´ve hire me one good country band and play the whole day through.
And on the door had to be a welcome explain for all my friends:
Come ride all in, it´s country time again!
Refrain:
It´s country time, hear the guitars playin´
country time where the dance will swayin´
right in the heart of Tennessee.
It´s country time and the band is swingin´
country time and all the people are singin´.
Country time is a time for hometown folks like you and me.
If your rich old uncle die and will to you
a great big bit of money, what exactly would you do?
Would you´ll be by and drinks around for everyone in that place?
Or would you roam it to the bank and lock it in the safe?
If I would win a million dollars, I know what I would so,
I´ve hire me one good country band and play the whole day through.
And on the door had to be a welcome explain for all my friends:
Come ride all in, it´s country time again!
Refrain
LG
